Current and Future Works
Jones Computing Industries is a company founded on the idea that the world would be a better place if we all put forth the effort to make it one. One of the many ways that we do this is by volunteering with youth and seniors within our local communities.
We currently do this by being a "Big" through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and by driving students to school, home, and extracurricular activities programs, partnered with Seattle Public Schools.
We recently volunteered with PFLAG at the 2021 PRIDE event in Capitol Hill, Seattle. There are plans in the works to begin externship programs for High School seniors seeking experience in the IT industry.
Articles Of Acknowledgement
It is no small thing to acknowledge the history of this nation and the parts that it's founders played in it's birth. Due to the respect that we have for the original inhabitants of this land we occupy, prior to each team meeting we begin with the reading the following. It is not to absolve ourselves and others of the events of the past, but to express a wish in moving forward to begin to heal that which was long since harmed.
We acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People, peoples who have reserved treaty rights to this land, past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself, the Duwamish Tribe and our indigenous neighbors the Suquamish, Nisqually, Snoqualmie and Muckleshoot Tribes, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
